1.  The creation of a Local Village Water Borehole Managed by FLYDA

2. The renovation of 'Secku Musa Touray'  School in Medina Salam

The festival ground boasts Bars; VIP Restaurant; BBQ Grills; Outside VIP Area; Plenty of seating;  Food, Drinks, Land & Property Seminar, Dancing, Live Band, DJ's, Cultural Groups, Dominoes & Card Tables, Dart Board and more....  Taste our Gourmet BBQ Burgers; We also cater for Vegetarian and Vegan cuisine.

 

The festival is within 7  minutes’ walk to the beautiful white sandy beach of Medina Salam and if your feeling adventurous visit our reptile park which is only a 5 minute drive away.

PARKING & SHUTTLES

Parking available outside the venue. Buses & Taxis are available from Banjul, Kololi, Kotu, Fajara, Brusubi Turntable, Sanyyang, Gunjur, Kartong etc (Ask details at your hotel).

GET THE MAP

The Festival Venue is easily accessible, signposted, and situated along the main coastal road to kartong.

Directions: From Brusubi Turntabale - Pass through Brufut, Tanjir, Sanyyang, then drive past the Gunjur Bus Garage on your right and then you will reach Madina Salam. 

 

The Festival ground is the first turing on your left after you have crossed the bridge into Medina Salam.  The Hamlet Venue is 1 minute walk from the main coastal road.  (If you have reached Kartong you have gone too far).

KEEP THE HAMLET GREEN & CLEAN

We believe in responsible eco tourism - Please throw waste away in the recyle bins provided.

Although cups are provided - we encourage you to bring your own cup for drinks so that this can be reused by you - washing taps are provided.
